Hexaflexagons!

A word from our friends at the Global Studies Collective and  the Text Textile Texture Studio.

Please join us next Thursday, October 18, to make and decorate your hexaflexagons. These invert-able folded-paper “books,” as Eve Sedgwick called them, have two sides, but paradoxically have six different faces. They’re fun to make, intriguing to watch in action, and remarkably satisfying to manipulate. They can even be used as study aids. Learn more about hexaflexagons on our blog. Instructions and all materials will be provided, and as with all 3Text Studio events, no special talent or skills are required.  Snacks will be offered.

Details are:

Thursday, October 18th 4:30-9:30 pm Room 5409 CUNY Graduate Center 365 Fifth Avenue, New York City
