Help New York City Connect to the Tar Sands!

Four committed NYC climate justice activists are trekking a total of 5,000 miles (in a hybrid vehicle) as part of their campaign to raise awareness about the Alberta Tar  Sands, one of the most ecologically significant sites of our time. Their destination is the Tar Sands Healing Walk in Fort McMurray, CN, to walk in solidarity with First Nations, Metis, and Inuit people as well as other allies of the land who stand in the face of environmental injustice and degradation with a message of peace and compassion.

The NYC contingent can’t get there without your support. Please check out their campaign page below and donate if you can!
